Obesity

            Nowadays, the amount of people who have the problem of obesity is increasing. This is caused by the imbalance diet of individuals and also the lack of exercise among the people, especially the youths in their lives. All these reasons cause the obesity problem to be happened in the society effectively. Moreover, the problem of obesity among the people will brings some effects to their lifestyle. The people who have obesity will get some health problem, the outlook appearance of individuals to be affected that cause them to loss their confidence and the negative perception of the society on the particular person. Thus, it is necessarily to have a balance diet in order to have a healthy lifestyle.

            The primary cause of obesity problem is the imbalance diet of individuals in their consumption of food. Furthermore, the people nowadays are busying doing their career and thus, they prefer to take their meals at fast food restaurant. This is because they are able to reduce the time taken in taking meals and also it is convenient for them. However, these fast foods which are high in salt and lipid content will cause them to get obesity. The consumption of high calories food leads them to have obesity problem when the energy that the people consumed is not used up by their bodies. Thus, the people, especially the teenagers must be aware of the importance of balance diet on their health.

            Moreover, the lack of exercise among the people will cause them to get obesity problem if they do not have a balance diet. This is because they need to do exercise in order to use up the energy that they gained from the consumption of food. On the other way, the lipid content will be accumulated in their bodies if they do not do exercise consistently and effectively.

            With a problem of obesity among the people, this will increase the opportunity of the people in having some of the health problems. For example, the obese people will have a higher possibility of having heart problem, high blood pressure and diabetics compare to other people. All these health problems will reduce the living quality of individuals. Therefore, it is necessarily to maintain our health in order to safeguard the living quality of our daily lives.

            In addition, when a person is having obesity problem, the outlook appearance will be affected. Furthermore, these people will loss the confidence in achieving the success in their career. They feel that they are not nice-looking and so, they try to prevent any interaction with others. Thus, the society must be aware not to discriminate them as they are having the same capability as us.

            Besides, the others have negative perception on the person who have obesity problem. They thought that the people with obesity problem will have some of the characteristics, like laziness and reacts slower compared to others. However, this perception is incorrect and must be diminished by the society. In this way, they are motivated as there are no negative perceptions on them.

            In conclusion, an imbalance diet and lack of exercise causes obesity problem to be occur. This problem also leads to health problems, the outlook appearance to be affected and also the negative perception of the society on them. Therefore, we have to prevent this problem by having healthy diet, regular exercise and release our stress through listening to music. We also must respect others regardless of their physical appearance. Consequently, a caring society is maintained effectively.

Compare and contrast between secondary school and university

            Secondary schools and universities are the institutions where all the students studying and learning knowledge. These institutions are places that play important role in guiding the future leader of nation to develop the economy of country in an effective way. Moreover, secondary schools and universities have their own similarities and differences.

            The secondary schools and universities are institutions where we can acquire knowledge. Furthermore, secondary school is a place where teachers prepare students to further their studies in tertiary education. Therefore, the students are equipped with knowledge that is useful in their university studies. Moreover, lecturers in universities equip us with knowledge which is useful in our future career. For the students who study business, they will learn about the knowledge of how to manage a business, so that they are able to know the operation management of a company.

            Besides, we are able to make friends during secondary schools and universities. In secondary schools, we normally discuss our homework with each other. This will establish a good relationship among each other. When we are studying in universities, we will also having the group discussion on assignment. Therefore, we will make friends not only in secondary schools but also universities.

            The way of our dressing varies during secondary schools and universities. In secondary school, we have to wear uniforms every day. This type of wearing ensures that the students are disciplined as they are not allowed to wear in a fashion way. However, in universities, we have the freedom to wear anything that we like. Thus, the students are able to be motivated as they are allowed to wear anything that they like to go to class.

            The study time table in secondary schools and universities vary. In secondary school, the time table is fixed for all the secondary school students. Therefore, they are attending the classes continuously for many hours. This causes the students to feel boring in the classes with fixed time table. On the other hand, in universities, the time table is flexible among all the students. They are motivated as they do not need to attend the classes for different subjects continuously. They also do not need to attend the classes as early as secondary schools. Thus, the students are able to plan their study time schedule in a more flexible way.

            In conclusion, the secondary schools and universities have their own uniqueness in term of the way of dressing and also the flexibility of time table. However, they are similar on their functions as institutions that can acquire knowledge and also the opportunity to make friends. Therefore, students must adopt themselves in different studying environment effectively. This is to ensure that they are able to learn beneficial knowledge in the secondary schools and universities.

            Pet abuse has becoming worse in the society nowadays. There are many reasons that cause this issue to be happened. The main reasons are irresponsible actions of pet owners on their pets and also the cruel behavior of the people who abuse pets. This group of people must be punished and aware of their violent actions towards the pets.

            Furthermore, the happening of pet abuse shows that some of the people do not have moral feeling towards the pets and thus, they are able to apply the same principal to other people as well. They do not care about others’ feeling. Consequently, they get involved in gangsters’ activities and this causes social issues to be happened.  

Therefore, this issue has to be concerned by the society in order to solve this problem. In this way, the safety of pets is safeguarded and the social issues will be solved. 

b. Why do you think it occurs? Explain your answer.

            There are several reasons that cause pet abuse to be happened in this society. They are the psychological problem of the people who abuse pets, negative influence of the movies, video games that emphasizes on violence and also the negative characteristics of the people. Therefore, the authority needs to devise a comprehensive plan to overcome this issue effectively.

            People nowadays face a lot of pressure from their works and some of them are depressed of their studies. They want to achieve their success in this competitive environment. Therefore, they are mentally depressed. These people find ways to release their tension in an effective way. Furthermore, they listen to music, doing physical exercises and also having rest in order to relax their mind.

            However, some of the people who are not rational and aggressive will release their tension in a violent way. For example, they will express their anger by abusing the pets. They will torture the pets to get the satisfaction. This situation is unbearable because the pets are innocent and must be protected. Furthermore, they will cause the pets to be injured physically and mentally. In conclusion, it is necessarily to restrict the laws in order to safeguard the safety of the pets.

            Besides, the people, especially the youths are influenced negatively by the movies, video games and also some of the storybooks that emphasized on the violence. Furthermore, they have the desire to control others to get their satisfaction. They also want to fight with others physically when they influence by the violence excessively. They will react aggressively toward others. For example, they want to control the actions of their pets. When the pets do not obey their orders, they will abuse the pets physically. Therefore, restrictions on movies and video games should be implemented to reduce the negative influence on the mentally growth of the youths.

            Moreover, the negative attitudes of the society towards the pets also cause this issue to be happened. Furthermore, these pet owners ignore the physical and mentally health of their pets. They do not care about their pets when their pets are sick. They also provide a bad living environment for them. This causes the pet to be abused physically and mentally. Thus, awareness campaign should be implemented to aware the society of the importance of giving love and care for the pets.   

                       

c. Explain their impacts on

i) society

            The happening of pet abuse symbolizes the increase of number of people who act violently towards animals. Furthermore, they do not care about the others which include human being. They will act aggressively on others in order to achieve their satisfaction. For example, the people who abuse pets are violent and thus, this behavior causes them to act the same way on other people.

            This group of people gets involved in gangsters’ activities, like fighting with others. This causes social issue to be happened. For example, the teenagers who are not mature will be affected by them and thus, they do not get interested in studying but participate their activities by bullying the other students. Moreover, the rate of criminals will be increase in the society. It will reduce the safety of the society effectively.

    

ii) nation

            With the increase of criminal rate in the country, the authority has to allocate more resources to solve these problems. They need to modify their security system of this country and thus, they need to expand the budgets on it. In this way, pet abuse which shows the aggressive behavior of that group of people that brings about the happening of criminal affect the nation in an indirect way.

            Besides, the investment of foreigners on this country will reduce. This is due to the increase of criminal rates in the country that reduce the image of the country. As the decrease of the investment, the national income will also be decreased. Consequently, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country will be reduced.

            In addition, when the image of the country reduces, the tourism industry will be affected. Foreign tourists tend to visit other country. Furthermore, the animal lovers prefer not to visit the country that shows the bad image where the people always abuse pets. They will choose other countries to visit. Consequently, the national income will be reduced.   

            In conclusion, this issue brings about many impacts on the society and also the nation in an indirect way. We must be aware to prevent this problem from becoming worse. As responsible human being, we should care our pets with love. We must know that the pets are innocent and must be protected with love. In this way, we also build our positive characteristics, like kindness and caring towards others people.

The four seasons are like a decoration to the earth,it makes the nature more beautiful. Sometimes, peoples daily activities depend on the weather. The habits and style of life change as the seasons vary. Summer is the hottest season whereas winter is the coldest one. People will carry out their daily activities based on the weather. These are a few ways how different seasons affect people's daily routine in terms of their food,clothes and activities.

Introduction about myself

     Hi, my name is Sue Pui Yan and I come from Seremban. Some of my friends call me Sue as it is easy to remember while the others call me Pui Yan. I am eighteen years old and I am currently pursuing my studies at Inti International University which is located at Nilai.  Moreover, I am a tall girl and my height is about 172cm. I like to eat all kinds of food, especially vegetables. This is because vegetables contain fibers and essential nutrients for human health. Besides, I like to drink mango juice, sour soup juice, and carrot juice. All these kind of drinks are tasty and also beneficial for us.
     Moreover, I am the youngest child in my family. I have one brother that is studying actuarial mathematics at Michigan. He is more hardworking than me and thus he will guide me in my studies. In additions, I like to read storybooks, watching Korean drama and listening to music. I will be able to release my stress through these ways, especially watching Korean drama. 
     There are many goals that I want to achieve for this year. The most important goal is that I want to get all As for the subjects in this semester. I also want to get an overall excellent result in my foundation course in order to get the scholarship for my degree. In this way, I can reduce the burden of my parents effectively. Moreover, I have the desire to improve my writing skill as it is very important for my career in the future.
     I feel like writing is the most efficient way to express our feeling and opinion about a certain topic to others. Furthermore, we are able to perform well  for the subjects that need good writing skill, like English Language Skills. The improve of writing skill will also improve the communication skill with others. This is because writing is one of the ways to communicate with others effectively.
